About the Role

Own email as a product line:

In May 2026 we started building Envelope, our internal email platform. It manages the full lifecycle of cold email at scale: campaign launch, sender fleet and deliverability management, AI-powered reply classification, meeting booking and follow-up, and per-client channel economics.

Fifteen weeks in, it runs 40+ active clients, has booked 244 sales meetings for them, and operates at a six-figure annual revenue run-rate, tracked down to the meeting. It has outgrown a single owner-builder. You will be the first dedicated product hire for the channel, working directly with the founding team and engineering.

North Star

Lead Email end-to-end: roadmap, clients, and revenue. You set the direction and defend it with results.

The Platform

Envelope today:

40+ active clients running on the platform. 244 sales meetings booked to date. 200+ concurrent campaigns sending over a million emails a month. AI reads and classifies every reply, and the platform reports its own weekly metrics. Built and operated AI-first.

What You'll Own

These are not roadmap items. They are your job:

01
Roadmap

Own the Envelope product roadmap end to end: prioritise, spec, and ship improvements with engineering.

02
Client Outcomes

Own the results the platform delivers - meetings booked, reply quality, deliverability health - across every client account.

03
Channel Economics

Own revenue and cost for the email channel: pricing inputs, infrastructure spend, and unit economics per client.

04
Experimentation & Ops

Run a continuous testing programme across copy, personalisation, and sending strategy - and automate the remaining manual steps in the campaign lifecycle.

Strong Signals

Strong signals:

01
Owned a P&L

You've been responsible for a revenue line, a channel, or a product's unit economics - not just its feature list.

02
Startup DNA

Time at a startup or small team (< 20 people) where you wore many hats.

03
Outbound Native

You've run cold email or outbound campaigns yourself and know what deliverability trouble smells like.

04
Ships Solo

You've built something end-to-end on your own: a side project, a channel, a past business.

Must-Haves

What we're looking for:

01Experience in product management, growth, revenue operations, or as an operator/founder - you have shipped things that customers used
02Deeply data-driven: comfortable defining metrics, pulling your own numbers, and making decisions from them
03Understanding of cold outbound (deliverability, sender infrastructure, copywriting), or the ability to demonstrably learn it fast
04Fluent with AI tools and agents as part of your daily workflow
05Bias to action and comfort with ambiguity
06Based in the UK or willing to relocate to London
